Okay, not only is this the best flourless, vegan, gluten free, clean you name it apple crumble this is the BEST damn apple crumble I’ve tasted healthy or not. The crumble is impeccably crunchy, buttery and sweet and the apples are perfectly tender. Trust me, just make it- you’ll thank me later.
4 Apples, Peeled and Sliced
4 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
1 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
½ Cup GF Oats
½ Cup Almond Flour
½ Teaspoon Sea Salt
1-Teaspoon Cinnamon
1-Tablespoon Earth Balance Butter
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
2 Teaspoons Coconut Sugar (or any sugar you’d like)
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. In a shallow baking dish mix the apples with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup and lemon juice. In a medium bowl mix the oats, almond flour, sea salt, cinnamon and coconut sugar together. Add the rest of the maple syrup, butter and olive oil to the dry mixture and mix together (with clean hands) until a crumble topping forms. Crumble the topping over the fruit evenly. Bake for 25 minutes and voilà the best apple crumble ever!
